Terms and Conditions of Hire

  • Drive in a safe and responsible manner when entering or leaving the grounds and car park.
  • Parking spaces provided for the disabled are for the use of disabled drivers only.
  • The Parish Council or Hordle Community Association accepts no responsibility for personal loss or injury whilst on the premises, or in the car park, on the recreation ground, or other facilities.
  • The Hall Acoustic Ceiling Panels are there to balance the noise characteristics of the room, do not pin, stick, adhere or damage these panels.
  • Hirers are responsible for providing their own first aid facilities, tea towels, cutlery, cleaning materials, rubbish sacks.
  • All breakages and/or damage must be reported to the HCA as soon as possible, and be paid for by the hirers.
  • Hirers are responsible for ensuring the facility is left in a clean and tidy condition. All rubbish etc must be removed by the hirer.
  • Hirers are to ensure that No Smoking Legislation with regard to their use of hall and kitchen is adhered to.
  • Smoke machines/devices are not allowed anywhere within the building.
  • Hirers are responsible for ensuring that any electrical equipment they bring on to the premises is in a safe condition and is fit for purpose.
  • Hirers are responsible for obtaining any licenses that may be required before commencing their event.
  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the facility is in a safe and fit condition for the event they are undertaking. * Payment due, in full, must be made before the date of hire.
  • Your booking conditions allow for HPC staff access to toilet facilities as required.
